Etnika Signature · glass house
A glass house
without end.
Our signature house is a glass volume on a steel frame. One long panoramic facade wraps back in glass at both ends, with sliding sections opening the interior to the landscape. We first called it Anantara, a word for without end. The name stuck to the feeling.

Exterior design
A house that borrows its colour from the site.
The Signature is designed to disappear into its surroundings rather than compete with them. Its long panoramic facade and glazed returns reach from floor to roof, specified anywhere from clear to fully mirrored. Clear glass opens the house to a forest or a shoreline. Mirrored glass returns the landscape to itself, which is why a Signature also works on an urban plot.
The structure is a modular blend of heavy and light steel framing. It gives the house its constructive simplicity: a thin roof plane, slender posts, and no visual weight where none is needed. The short ends and the service core are clad in thermo-treated wood or metal, chosen to weather in harmony with the place.
At 48 m² on a 12 × 4 m footprint, the house arrives as a complete module and rests on point foundations, so the ground beneath it is left largely as it was.
Interior design
Spacious because the walls are missing.
Every Signature feels larger than its 48 m² because the glass walls hand the room over to the landscape. The plan is simple: an open kitchen and living room along the long side, a bedroom at one end, and a bathroom behind it. Nothing in between interrupts the view.
The finishes are few and chosen to last. Natural oak on the floor and on the inside wall panels, ceramic tile and quality sanitary fittings in the bathroom, and built-in furniture where it saves space. In the living room a fireplace gives the extra warmth that makes cold, dark evenings the best part of the year.

After dark
A lantern in the landscape.
At night the glass reverses. The house glows, the land goes dark around it, and the fire does the rest.
